The sound lecture "charcoal circles" explores energetic
processes and the relation between decomposition, sound and
            movement.

A piece of charcoal is moved slowly over the ground, leaving
black traces on the surface. With electrical contacts
attached to it, it becomes a microphone: the sound of
drawing is conducted toward a loudspeaker, the line on paper
            transferred into time.
