The sound installation ONE STEP is based on a measurement of the exhibition space. 40 footsteps are needed to cross the room from one end to the other. A loudspeaker is placed on both ends of this imaginary line, playing a repeated sentence, 40 times within the opening time of one day.
In between those "steps" is nothing but silence - by standing still we are able to hear the passing of time.
